Empress Caiatl has deployed a tank fortress to Nessus and opened an invitation to survivors of the Red Legion to vie for a seat on her War Council. Vanquish the Cabal and prove yourself in glorious combat against her Chosen.
Overview
A three-player Battlegrounds mission in Arcadian Valley on Nessus, introduced in Season of the Chosen. Commander Zavala sends the fireteam to investigate a new Cabal presence; Empress Caiatl's tank fortress is used to host a "Rite of Proving" against her Chosen. Available as Customize and Matchmade variants.
Encounters
Fight through Red Legion forces (War Beasts, Psions, Legionaries, Phalanxes, Incendiors, Centurions, Colossi) alongside Vex (Goblins, Hobgoblins, Minotaurs). Mini-bosses include the Keymaster Colossus; the final boss is Commander Dracus, who goes immune until his Shield Bearers are killed. Older versions also had a Supreme Colossus and Keymaster Psion (since vaulted).
