Carbon Arrow Shaft is an arrow shaft perk for Bows. Its in-game description reads “Light and stable shaft material.” It increases stability by 10.

How it works

Arrow shafts occupy the arrow slot of a bow, so a bow runs one shaft at a time. Carbon Arrow Shaft is the stability choice. It adds stability and nothing else, which makes it the option for bows that feel loose or that are already getting their speed from elsewhere.

Bows that roll it

Many bows can roll Carbon Arrow Shaft. Notable examples include Convened Recurve, Imperial Needle, Whistler's Whim, Wish-Keeper and The Spiteful Fang.

Comparison

In the same arrow slot, Compact Arrow Shaft gives +10 Handling and +10 Reload Speed instead. Fiberglass Arrow Shaft greatly increases accuracy and slightly decreases stability. Carbon Arrow Shaft is the pick when stability is the stat you are missing.
