Pre Astyanax IV (Adept)

Overview

Pre Astyanax IV (Adept) is the Adept version of Pre Astyanax IV, a Solar Combat Bow for the Energy slot. The base weapon is a Precision Frame combat bow (76 impact). The curated roll features Problem Solver, which exhausts Champions and minibosses and boosts handling and reload. The lore line is "The lord of the city grants the blessing of precision.".

The Adept variant is the harder-to-get version of the same weapon. It is masterworked, takes exclusive Adept mods and has improved stats. See Pre Astyanax IV for the full perk pool and notable rolls.

Acquisition

The Adept version is obtained by completing a Grandmaster Nightfall (it is the Grandmaster-tier reward of the Nightfall loot pool). Sources list it only as a Grandmaster drop; no focusing or crafting route is documented.

Sources disagree on where it drops: Destinypedia says Nightfall and notes Adept versions in S22 and S24, while Game Wiki lists Pinnacle Ops for the Season 27 version (a Season 24 version also exists).
