Curse This

Overview

Curse This is a triumph in Destiny 2 that requires a fireteam to complete The Shattered Throne without any member dying and without leaving the activity.

How to complete

1. Form a fireteam of up to three players. The Shattered Throne has no matchmaking, so find a group yourself. Since Shadowkeep you can start it any time from the Dreaming City map in the Director.
2. Clear the sections in order: Erebus, where Taken groups are defeated at animal-symbol locations seven times, The Descent, Vorgeth, the Boundless Hunger, Eleusinia and Dûl Incaru, the Eternal Return.
3. Do not die. In the Erebus Darkness Zone, a team wipe means restarting that section. In Vorgeth, kill Taken Wizards to collect orbs for the Petitioner's Mark buff, and clear one side of the room at a time, prioritising Vandals and then Goblins.
4. Do not leave the activity or swap characters. Some players report no triumph after swapping characters mid-run.
5. In Dûl Incaru, kill the three Fatesmiths for Finite Thought buffs, and drop the buff on the middle plate if you cannot finish her in time.

Tips and reported issues

• Snipe enemies from range on the Descent and in Eleusinia, where the Thrallway slows you and stops health regeneration.
• Dying with a timed buff such as Petitioner's Mark or Finite Thought removes the stacks.
• Some players report no triumph after a clean run with a late joiner. A separate issue where flawless triumphs were not being awarded has also been reported.
