Ergo Sum Catalyst

Overview

Ergo Sum Catalyst is a Triumph tied to the Ergo Sum Exotic Sword. Its objective is 500 targets defeated while Ergo Sum is equipped. While the sword is equipped, Transcendent grenade final blows add progress toward it.

How to complete

1. Get the catalyst by completing Excision at the Pale Heart on Grandmaster difficulty. Other difficulties do not give it.
2. Use Ergo Sum for the kills. Guides report the catalyst needs several hundred sword kills to activate, with about 400 the most common figure. Use the Catalyst tab in Collections to see the remaining percentage.
3. Hit targets with Transcendent grenades while the sword is equipped. Their final blows add progress toward the triumph.
4. The catalyst's perk, Transcendent Steel, grants Ergo Sum ammo when you deal damage with a Transcendent grenade. The catalyst only works in Prismatic Prismatic builds.

Farming spots that guides recommend for kills: Shuro Chi in The Last Wish, Dares of Eternity, the start of Grasp of Avarice, and the Breakneck mission in Lightfall.
