Glyphkeeper

Overview

Glyphkeepers are major enemies in the Exhibition encounter of the Vow of the Disciple raid, set on Savathûn's Throne World. When slain, each one displays three symbols in a column on its side of the room. These are the glyph calls the fireteam must read.

They come in pairs. A Resonant Glyphkeeper, a Taken Phalanx variant, also appears in the first room, opposite the Glyphkeeper Chieftain. Killing both Glyphkeepers in a room reveals which symbol they share. Shooting that symbol among the six around the locked door opens it. Killing each pair within 5 seconds of each other completes the Glyph to Glyph triumph.

Symbols and relics

Symbols from the Chieftain can be read by any Guardian not holding a relic. Symbols from the Taken Phalanx variant, including the Resonant Glyphkeeper, can only be read by a relic holder, so the team has to coordinate between relic holders and everyone else. Exhibition also runs a shared countdown, Terminal Resonance, which kills all Guardians if it reaches zero. Depositing relics in the next room resets it.

Glyph to Glyph tips

The usual approach is to clear the adds until a Glyphkeeper spawns on each side, then wait for both. Call a timing cue, such as counting to three or calling 'left ready' and 'right ready', and have each side kill its own Glyphkeeper. Splitting the team in half, one group per side, is the standard setup.
