MMXX

Overview

MMXX is the 2020 Moments of Triumph seal, covering the Year 3 content of Shadowkeep and its seasons through Season of Arrivals. Completing 28 of its 30 triumphs grants the MMXX title. It launched in July 2020 and ran for just over two months, ending around the arrival of Beyond Light; it is now unobtainable. The in-game text says it must be done "before the end of the season".

• Leviathan Raid — Complete the "Leviathan" raid.
• Eater of Worlds Raid — Complete the "Eater of Worlds" raid.
• Spire of Stars Raid — Complete the "Spire of Stars" raid.
• Crown of Sorrow Raid — Complete the "Crown of Sorrow" raid.
• Scourge of the Past Raid — Complete the "Scourge of the Past" raid.
• Garden of Salvation — Complete the "Garden of Salvation" raid.
• Destroyer of Heretics — Complete the Pit of Heresy.
• Prophecy Complete — Complete the "Prophecy" dungeon.

Playlists and ranks

• Gun for Hire — Complete Contracts.
• Challenger — Complete weekly challenges throughout the system.
• For the Vanguard — Complete strikes in any strike playlist.
• Ordeal or No Deal — Complete Nightfall strikes. Challenging strikes grant the most efficient progress.
• Trials Victories — Win matches in the Trials of Osiris.
• Gambit Standout — During Season of Arrivals, deposit Motes and defeat combatants with precision final blows in Gambit.

Moon and seasonal

• K1 Discovered — Complete and loot all of the Moon's Lost Sectors.
• Above and Beyond — In the "Beyond" mission, defeat the Bestowed Darkblade and acquire the Darkblade Harvester buff. Then, complete the mission without dying. This mission is periodically available on the Moon.
• Altars of Sorrow: Final Phase — Defeat a Tier V Nightmare boss.
• Hive-God Optometrist — Find and destroy all of Savathûn's Eyes.
• Season Pass Rank — Attain rank 100 in Season of Arrivals.
• Season of Arrivals: Valor Legend — During Season 11, reach the "Legend" Crucible Rank and reset it.
• Interference: Clear the Air — Defeat Savathûn's Supplicant in the mission "Interference."
• The Majesty of It — Obtain Magnificent Legendary Solstice Armor.

Score

• Triumph Apprentice — Attain a moderate Triumph score to earn a Bungie.net code for the Sunset Emblem.
• Triumph Master — Attain a high Triumph score to earn a special emblem.

Rewards

• Reward: Emblem — Complete Triumphs to earn the 2019 Moments of Triumph emblem.
• Reward: Sparrow — Complete 21 Triumphs to earn the Moments of Triumph 2023 Sparrow.
• Reward: Ghost — Complete Triumphs to earn the 2020 Ghost.
• Bungie Rewards Triumph Shirt Available — Complete Triumphs to earn a Bungie.net token that unlocks the 2020 T-shirt for purchase at the Bungie Store.
• Reward: Raid Ring and Emblem — Complete all 5 raids to earn a Bungie.net token that unlocks the Raid Ring for purchase at the Bungie Store and a unique emblem.

Other

• Exotic Arsenal — Claim Bad Juju, Outbreak Perfected, and Whisper of the Worm from their respective Exotic missions.

Rewards by triumph count

• 1 triumph: Accolades on Accolades emblem. 5: Resurrecting Flight sparrow. 10: Awakened Shell ghost. 15: Bungie Store shirt token. All five raids: Raid Ring token and emblem. 28: the MMXX title and seal.

Gilding

Not gildable and no longer obtainable.

Tips and time

• The five raid triumphs are the biggest time sink; raid loot was unlimited during the event. Raids left rotation in September 2020. Garden of Salvation was not vaulted.
• Interference: Clear the Air is a secret triumph: defeat Savathûn's Supplicant in the mission "Interference". Two further triumphs came with Solstice of Heroes.
• Some older guides name different Exotics for the Exotic triumph; the in-game names above are followed.
• Estimated time: 20 to 40 hours with raid teams.
