Military Doctrine

Overview

Military Doctrine is a Triumph in Destiny 2 earned by completing the dungeon Sundered Doctrine on Master difficulty. It awards 25 Triumph Score and counts toward the Delver seal, which needs ten dungeon triumphs.

How to complete

You need the Final Shape campaign completed and either the Final Shape Deluxe Edition or the Final Shape Dungeon Key. Optionally, talk to Ikora Rey in The Tower to pick up the Drowning Labyrinth quest. Launch the dungeon from its marker on Savathûn's Throne World, in the top-left of the destination menu.

1. Light reflection puzzle: kill Truthspeakers in the side rooms to get symbols, then aim orange light through the lenses into the matching wheel. Complete three rounds to open the door.
2. Zoetic Lockset: kill Perceptor Wizards to gather Knowledge, then use it to set the wheel symbols. Setting STOP three times and KILL last works well, then deal damage to the Shriekers. Linear fusion rifles are effective.
3. Kerrev, the Erased: use the symbol wheel and a Truthseeker drop to decide which symbols to light or darken. Lighting the wrong truth symbols resets the encounter. Once the shield drops, focus damage, and Divinity helps the team land precision hits.

Master difficulty

Expect shielded foes with elemental shields and champions, including Unstoppable, Overload and Anti-Barrier. Master modifiers add extra champions and shields and cap effective power at 2030. Surges give a 25% bonus to a specific element, so plan your loadouts around them.

Rewards

Completing the dungeon on Master also grants the Future Proof exotic Sparrow. Finality's Auger, an exotic trace rifle with a catalyst option, is among the dungeon's loot.
