Opaque Hourglass

Overview

Opaque Hourglass is an Arc Combat Bow with a high-impact frame, a heavy weapon. Reviewers described it as a new archetype shaped like a crossbow, with retrievable bolts. Like every legendary weapon in the raid it carries the origin trait Frame of Reference: final blows temporarily grant increased damage, reload speed and range, and the effect is frozen while the weapon is stowed. Firefly with Dragonfly was the suggested roll (Vorpal Weapon is also available); it was seen as niche in a difficult bow meta.

Acquisition

Drops from The Desert Perpetual, the The Edge of Fate raid, in its normal version. Legendary gear from the raid can be farmed repeatedly; only the exotic Whirling Ovation is limited to once per character per week.
