Dealing unique elemental damage grants this weapon a stacking damage bonus. This bonus is increased for kinetic weapons.
Overview
Elemental Honing gives a stacking damage bonus for each new element you deal damage with. Each new element adds one stack. The bonus is larger on kinetic weapons. Peak damage is 40% at five stacks on kinetic weapons. It is ranked as a situational perk.
It takes setup to reach full stacks, so it suits Prismatic builds that mix Solar, Arc, Void, Stasis and Strand damage. Strong rolls include Cynosure, Hezen Vengeance and Praedyth's Revenge.
