True Prophecy

Overview

True Prophecy is a Legendary Hand Cannon featuring the Arc element. It is categorized as a Weapon. The item's flavor text reads: "Some claim to know the future better than we do. Listen carefully. Then ask yourself: do their words ring true or false?" —Lakshmi-2

Acquisition

True Prophecy can be acquired from completing activities whilst exploring Nessus. It was formerly obtainable from Lakshmi-2 during Faction Rallies in the Red War and as a random world drop in Season of the Worthy. The item cannot be reacquired from Collections.

In Monument of Triumph, True Prophecy is available in the Energy Slot. This represents a change from its previous Kinetic Slot placement, coinciding with its element shift to Arc. This adjustment was likely implemented to prevent an over-congestion of Kinetic Handcannons within the Monument.

The weapon has appeared in Destiny 2 during Season of the Worthy and Lawless.
