Warlord's Ruin

Overview

Warlord's Ruin is a three-boss Dungeon in the European Dead Zone (Windswept Crag), where Scorn hold a Dark Age castle. It released with Season of the Wish on 1 December 2023 (patch 7.3.0). Access requires the Lightfall Deluxe Edition or the Lightfall Dungeon Key. Fireteam size is 1-3 and recommended power is 1790. A Master version exists in the game data; the Destiny 2 Wiki does not describe it.

Encounters

1. Prison puzzle and approach: Rotate dials based on tally marks on skeleton remains to open the prison, then climb through jumping sections up the mountain.
2. Rathil, First Broken Knight of Fikrul: Kill adds until Rathil summons a Taken turret; you are teleported into a floating cage, escape by shooting the three Blighted Eyes. Convert Taken totems to Stasis before the Imminent Wish timer expires and cleanse lanterns for the Naeem's Wish buff; more totems changed means a longer damage phase.
3. Locus of Wailing Grief (Ogre): Destroy Blighted Eyes to spawn Broken Knights who drop lanterns; cleanse them to get Solar charges and deposit one in each of four braziers to trigger damage. Manage the Biting Cold debuff (lethal at ten stacks) with torches. Dragon's Breath and Apex Predator are suggested.
4. Hefnd's Vengeance, Blighted Chimaera: A heavily mutated Servitor boosted by Ahamkara bones. Same eye/lantern loop on spiraling island platforms, plus the Hex of Vengeful Corruption: melee Corrupted Hex-Drinkers to pass the debuff. Destroying Acolyte Eyes extends damage.

Secret chests

Two secret chests; each has six possible spots with only one real per run: one between the prison and the second encounter, and one after the Ogre. One of ten Ahamkara bones near the final chest counts toward title triumphs.

Rewards

Buried Bloodline exotic sidearm, Vengeful Whisper, Dragoncult Sickle, Naeem's Lance and Dark Age armor sets. Guides differ on small details (for example how the Ogre encounter is described); sources are Season of the Wish era.
