A Sudden Death is a Legendary Shotgun that deals Void damage. It uses the Aggressive Frame, which gives high damage and high recoil. Its flavor text reads: "Everything dies. This is proof." —Emissary of the Nine

It drops from the Rite of the Nine. It was added to the Prophecy dungeon loot pool starting with Season of the Lost. It exists in two versions, from Season 15 and Season 26. It has been available during Season of the Lost, Season of the Wish, and Episode: Heresy.
